A Magical Celebration:
Adam and Chloe's Wedding at Château du Raysse

As a wedding coordinator, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of being part of a couple’s special day.
But when that couple includes a dear friend from the past, the experience becomes even more meaningful. Chloe and I used to be colleagues and friends, and when she reached out to me years later to become the wedding coordinator for her and Adam’s big day, I was thrilled beyond words.
On the 29th of May 2023, at the enchanting Château du Raysse in Dordogne, I had the privilege of helping Adam and Chloe bring their dream wedding to life. It’s been a truly extraordinary day, a beautiful blend of fun, emotion, and pure amazement.
One of the things that made their wedding truly special was their guests. From the moment I arrived at the château, everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. I instantly felt like part of their close-knit group, and their appreciation for the work I was doing made the experience even more enjoyable.
In the days leading up to the wedding, I assisted the couple in finalising the last-minute details. This included arranging transportation options like taxis and shuttles. But we even managed to secure bike rentals to explore the picturesque Dordogne region which added a delightful touch of adventure for their guests. On the big day, my role was all-encompassing.
My goal was to ensure that everything was in place, from installing the furniture to meticulously setting up the decorations. I was the point person for welcoming and coordinating the suppliers, ensuring a seamless flow throughout the day. I was also on hand to assist guests whenever needed, from providing directions to lending a helping hand.

Working with Adam and Chloe’s chosen suppliers was an absolute joy.
Their catering team, Party in France, created culinary delights that left everyone’s taste buds dancing. The DJ, British DJ in France, set the perfect mood, keeping the dance floor alive, while the photographer, Pattie Fellowes Photography, and videographer, Aurora Weddings, captured every precious moment. The pianist, Loose Covers, added a touch of elegance during the ceremony and the cocktail reception, the wedding cake designer, British Bakery France, created a delectable masterpiece, and the makeup artist, Skin 23, worked wonders. It was a fantastic team effort, and I was lucky to be part of it.
As I reflect on this memorable experience, I can’t help but feel grateful for the trust Adam and Chloe placed in me. Their wedding was my first as a coordinator, and I couldn’t have dreamt of a more magical way to begin this journey.
Their love, their warmth, and the sheer joy that radiated from their day will forever hold a special place in my heart. Adam and Chloe, I cannot thank you enough for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding. It’s a day I will cherish always, and I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness as you embark on this new chapter together.
