Carrie & Daniel's Dream Wedding at Château Rieutort
Love knows no boundaries, and for Carrie and Daniel, a Scottish couple deeply in love, their wedding day became a magical chapter in their romantic journey. As their wedding coordinator, I had the honour of orchestrating the beautiful celebration of their love on the 9th of September 2023 at the enchanting Château Rieutort (Saint-Pargoire) in the picturesque south of France.

The Preparations
Arriving a day before the grand event, I was greeted by the bustling activity of the caterer setting up a delightful food truck for the guests. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with family members actively participating in the preparations. It was evident from the beginning that this wedding would be a special occasion filled with warmth and love.A Hot and Sunny Affair
The wedding day dawned bright and hot, creating the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love and joy. To keep the guests cool and hydrated during the romantic ceremony, bottles of water were thoughtfully placed under each chair, a small but appreciated gesture that demonstrated the couple’s consideration for their loved ones. The ceremony itself was a testament to the deep connection between Carrie and Daniel. The air was filled with emotion as they exchanged vows, surrounded by the lush beauty of Château Rieutort. The love that radiated from the couple was palpable, creating a truly unforgettable moment for everyone present.Music, Laughter, and Shared Joy
Carrie and Daniel chose to have a live band during the cocktail reception, setting the tone for a lively and festive celebration. Guests mingled on the grass, enjoying the sunshine, refreshing drinks, and the infectious energy of the live music. Laughter and joy filled the air as the couple’s two children and guests’ children played, adding to the heartwarming ambiance of the day. Before dinner commenced, heartfelt speeches brought tears to the eyes of many. The love and support surrounding Carrie and Daniel were evident, making the celebration even more meaningful. Dinner was a delightful affair with shared plated food, fostering a sense of community among the guests. The atmosphere was convivial, with everyone enjoying the delicious offerings.

The Perfect Suppliers
Our collaboration played a pivotal role in crafting an exquisite wedding experience for Carrie and Daniel. From the heartfelt officiation by the celebrant (Marry us in France), the artful arrangements by the florist (The flower shop), to the beauty of the furniture provided by Mea Events, each supplier brought their unique expertise to the table. The photographer (Lisa Allen Photography) and videographer (Katy Fendall Films) worked harmoniously to capture every magical moment, ensuring that the memories would be preserved for a lifetime. The live band (Rip it Encore) set the perfect tone during the cocktail reception, enhancing the lively and celebratory atmosphere. The caterer (Wizard Wedding) delighted guests with a delectable culinary experience, and the venue itself provided an enchanting backdrop for the entire celebration. The magical transformation of the bride, Carrie, and the entire bridal party was brought to life by the skilled hands of a remarkable makeup artist (Sarah Rees Makeup). Their expertise in enhancing natural beauty and creating flawless looks added an extra layer of glamour to the entire event. Additionally, the guests’ hairdresser (Créa’Style) and makeup artist (Muagency) worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone looked and felt their best, contributing to the overall radiance and elegance of the celebration. The synergy among these suppliers was evident, as they seamlessly collaborated to transform the couple’s vision into a tangible, dreamlike reality. Working with such a talented and dedicated team was not only a pleasure but also a key factor in the flawless execution of every element of the wedding, contributing to the overall success of the joyous occasion.A Heartfelt Thank You
