Alina and Ewoud met in the skies (she was a flight attendant, he a pilot) and from that serendipitous encounter, a beautiful love story began. Years later, now living in Dubai, they decided to say “I do” in the region they had fallen in love with: the peaceful, rolling hills of Champagne in France.
On a quiet Wednesday in late May, they gathered a small circle of their nearest and dearest at Château de Cormicy for an intimate celebration filled with heartfelt moments, good food, and a touch of magic. No fanfare, no excess: just a few days out of time to be fully present with the people they love most.

From the very beginning, I had the immense pleasure of walking alongside them on this journey. For more than a year, we planned this celebration together, and what a joy it was. Alina and Ewoud’s infectious good mood, unwavering trust, and kind hearts made every step feel light and natural. Each call felt more like a chat with old friends than a planning meeting.
They were the kind of couple you don’t just plan for… you fall a little in love with their story, their dynamic, their calm confidence. I got to know them so well that I could anticipate their reactions, answer supplier questions on their behalf, and guide the process effortlessly. Why I Do What I Do
This wedding was a beautiful reminder of why I love my job so deeply. Planning a celebration like this goes far beyond logistics.
It’s about human connection. It’s about walking alongside a couple, sharing their laughs, their questions, their hopes, their last-minute nerves. It’s about adapting to changes with grace, solving problems with calm, and never losing sight of the most important thing: the love story at the centre of it all.
Standing there on the day, surrounded by joy and love, crying during the ceremony and smiling as though I were a guest. That’s when I know it’s all worth it. These moments, these people, these memories… they stay with me.
