From the planning process to the big day, their wedding shows how thoughtful choices, the right team of suppliers, and a couple’s personal touch can create a magical and unforgettable experience. A Unique Summer Wedding at Château de Montrottier

On the 12th of July, Efi & Baptiste celebrated their love at the stunning Château de Montrottier in Annecy.

This wedding was a bit of a challenge from the start, as the couple first contacted me in January of the same year, and the only confirmed suppliers at that time were the caterer and the venue. As their wedding planner, I happily accepted the challenge—there’s something exciting about crafting a wedding in my own region, and I immediately fell in love with their vision.

Efi and Baptiste’s story is truly inspiring: Efi is Greek, Baptiste is French, and they live together in London. From our first call, I could feel their deep connection—they are the perfect team, a couple in sync, and a true symbol of love.

While the Château de Montrottier isn’t the typical venue most of my couples choose, it has its own medieval charm, breathtaking views, and undeniable magic. It set the perfect stage for a summer wedding that felt intimate, personal, and unforgettable.

A Team of Incredible Suppliers Bringing the Day to Life

Creating a wedding from scratch in just six months required assembling a talented and professional team of suppliers. Their Pièce Montée was crafted by Philippe Rigollot, while MIDS Photography (Marylou) captured every smile, glance, and heartfelt moment beautifully. The music and vibes were perfectly curated by DJ Feeling & Sound (Nicolas), and the floral arrangements by Pauline Genet Floral Designer brought elegance and colour to the château and gardens. Céline Durey took care of hair and makeup with finesse, Taxis 1786 (Quentin) ensured smooth transportation, Mobilier Loca Savoie (Logan) provided stylish furniture, and the photo booth by La Bamboula added a playful touch that guests loved. From start to finish, every supplier was professional, reliable, and contributed to making the day flow seamlessly. The couple’s careful planning and great work during the wedding made coordinating everything smooth and joyful—their energy and organisation truly elevated the day.

A Magical, Effortless Celebration

The wedding day itself was simple yet magical, with moments that will be remembered forever.

The ceremony, officiated by the couple’s godparents, was intimate and full of emotion, perfectly setting the tone for a day of love and joy.

Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the château’s enchanting gardens, followed by dinner on the terrace under the summer sky, with the mountains forming a breathtaking backdrop. A food truck provided dinner, adding a relaxed and fun touch that perfectly reflected Efi & Baptiste’s personalities.

From the smiles, laughter, and dancing to the small, meaningful interactions between family and friends, the day felt like a flawless summer celebration surrounded by loved ones.
