A Dream Venue in Champagne

On the 28th of June, Jessica & Henry celebrated their love at the stunning Château Comtesse Lafond, a venue that perfectly matched their vision of an intimate, elegant, and joyful wedding.

They first called me in November last year, and I was thrilled to step into the role of their wedding day coordinator. This role is unique and special: while I wasn’t planning every detail, I was there to ensure everything was perfectly organised, that the suppliers were confirmed and on schedule, and that the day would run smoothly. Over several calls, we shared ideas, discussed their vision, and I got to know them as a couple—their personalities, their sense of humor, their priorities, and what truly mattered to them.

By the time the wedding day arrived, I already felt like a friend joining a family celebration rather than just a coordinator. This foundation of trust and understanding made every moment of the day even more seamless and joyful.

A Day Filled with Love, Laughter, and Joy

The wedding day itself was a perfect reflection of Jessica & Henry: warm, fun, and filled with love.

From the moment I arrived, I could see how much thought and care had gone into making this day special, not just for the couple, but for every single guest. Their friends and family were fully involved, helping the day before and supporting the couple throughout, creating a wonderful sense of community and shared celebration.

With only 28 people in attendance, the day felt incredibly intimate and personal, and it was an absolute delight to witness the love and laughter that flowed naturally between the couple and their loved ones.

The atmosphere was so joyful that it didn’t feel like work—it felt like being part of a beautiful, heartfelt party where every moment mattered. Every glance, every laugh, every tear of happiness was a reminder of why intimate weddings are so special.

A Perfectly Coordinated Celebration

Jessica & Henry also made exceptional choices when it came to their wedding suppliers, and it showed in every detail of the day. From the caterer, wedding cake, photographer & videographer, sound system hire, florist, to MUAH, everyone was professional, passionate, and highly skilled, making my job as coordinator seamless and enjoyable.

From the couple getting ready in the morning, to the ceremony, the wedding cake cutting during cocktail hour (yes—your day, your rules!), the champagne sabering, dinner, and dancing late into the night, every moment flowed effortlessly.

Jessica & Henry had entrusted me with their day, and because we had spent months building understanding and trust, I knew exactly what they wanted and how they envisioned the celebration. Coordinating their wedding felt like a dream come true—helping a couple fully enjoy their day, surrounded by love, laughter, and their favorite people.

As always, saying goodbye at the end of the evening was bittersweet, but I know I’ll see them again, and I left with a heart full of joy and beautiful memories.
